This is no ordinary Heli Ski Trip. First, this package includes 10 hours of Hobbs time. We have combined the relaxation and adventure of a small cruise ship, with the experience of heli skiing, and the advantages don’t stop there. The weather and snow conditions are not meeting your requirements? We can move as many as 100 nautical miles while you sleep. Want to explore without burning up all your Hobbs time? We can moor right where you want to be. Looking to unwind after skiing with some comradery? While you and your boatmates enjoying the majesty of Alaska, maybe the local whale comes by to say hello by flapping a fluke, or slapping a tail, it will make itself known. Step outside to catch the northern lights, from the hot tub. Many things will go through your mind when you get off the helicopter, a view fit for royalty, yes, an opportunity to pioneer new runs. Most likely you won’t see any signs of human habitation at all, a feeling that can make the spirit soar.

- Required equipment (though we recommend bringing gear your are familiar with)

- Enjoy the hot tub on the top deck from which one can take in the stunning and ever changing vistas of Alaska.
- With an easily obtainable license prior to departure from the pier, one can try their hand at fishing the world class waterways of Alaska. Halibut, Cod, and Salmon are a few of the species to be found roaming the waters near the boat, looking for an easy meal.
- Wildlife viewing from small to large of all types is possible. It will be there if you want to see it. From birds to sea otters who tend to let the boat get about 20 yards from them before ducking under to pinnipeds and bears who can be seen haunting the shoreline in spring. If you are immune to these charms, we can order up a whale or two. Humpbacks and Orcas are known to ply the inside waters of the Alexander Archipelago in SE Alaska with regularity, along with lesser known species like minkes, grey whales and some forms or porpoises are less likely but possible.
- Shore excursions can include exploring beaches, estuaries, waterfalls, creeks, hot springs and tundra.
- Under certain conditions Village visits can be arranged. Our Clients are sometimes surprised by the depth of ancient culture and sustainable living still occurring in Alaskan Villages.

- If you want to get a bit more active, we can drag out the skeet. Biodegradable Clays and steel wetland bird shot make for no environmental damage but a bit of muzzle smoke, and a fun way to take off steam and test your skill.
- Scenic Tours from the air are available with SEABA, a B3 is at your command.
- Lectures on anything from Alaska to Nautical matters can be arranged, along with talks by anyone on board with any expertise,, and powerpoint presentations can be done with very little stress by hooking up to our TV HDMI ports. Our current captain has years of experience on NOAA vessels doing deep sea research, but he can keep it as long or as short as you wish to maintain the underlying goal of having fun and unwinding
- Or just relax and enjoy the amenities of the boat, including an audio and Video entertainment system in the main Lounge. We have a large selection of dramatic ski movies, or feel free to hook up by HDMI or bluetooth and show us a movie or some music from your collection. We also have a library of books on the local area and beyond.
