GEAR AND PACKING LIST

Gearing Up for your Backcountry Adventure in Haines, Alaska

Required Gear
Avalanche Airbag Backpack
Beacon
Rescue Snow Shovel
Probe 
Climbing Harness
Powder Skis (>110mm) or Snowboard 
Ski Strap (provided) 
Helmet (not provided)

The above gear is included in our all inclusive heli skiing packages. However, SEABA recommends bringing your own gear that you are familiar operating.
Also note that we can fill your BCA tanks and have ABS tanks for sale (pay if deployed).

Additional Gear
Motorola or equivalent 2-way radio (with extra batteries)
BCA radio link with mic 
Goggles (with an extra flat light lens)
Neck gaiter or similar item 
Extra gloves, warm clothes and layers 
Waterproof boots (i.e. Sorels, Extra Tuffs, etc.) 
Boot warmers (i.e. Hotrotincs) 
Water bottle or thermos 
Sunblock

In addition to the required gear and your normal ski or snowboard kit, these items will make your trip more enjoyable.
